The Market Development Grant (MDG) is a support initiative in the form of a reimbursable grant. MDG was introduced in 2002 with the objective of assisting exporters in their efforts to promote Malaysian-made products or services globally.

Lifetime limit of amount: RM300,000
Eligible promotional activities: Physical or Virtual Trade, Fair, Exhibition, Listing fee in Supermarket/Hypermarket/Retail, International Certification for Exports.

SEF is a fund provided to Malaysian Service Providers (MSPs) to undertake activities to expand and venture into the international market. Assistance is provided in the form of a reimbursable grant.

Eligible activities include: Travelling, accommodation related to international expansion, feasibility studies, commercial office setup, commercial intelligence, international certification, etc.
Claim amount: RM50,000 to RM350,000, depending on activity.

The Domestic Investment Accelerator Fund (DIAF) – ESG Adoption is a matching grant to support Malaysian-owned SMEs and Mid-Tier Companies in transitioning to ESG practices.

Matching grant ratio: 50:50 or 70:30 based on the case.
